Cut to the Chase Productions

Cut to the Chase Productions specialises in creating Site Specific performance. As a professional freelance director Jen Heyes is as passionate about producing and creating work in non-theatre spaces as she is about creating work in traditional theatre spaces. (See Portfolio). Non-theatre spaces have included:

• A disused office block - Portugal
• A Chateau garden - Luxembourg,
• The Blade Factory - Greenland Street, Liverpool
• Lewis’s Department Store, Renshaw Street - Liverpool
• The Heritage Market, Tobacco Warehouses, Stanley Dock - Liverpool.

Jen is also a champion of new writing and has produced and directed many new works over her career as well as regularly working with North West Playwrights and various theatres on numerous new writing initiatives.
